What happened to the bold Jerry Jones? How passing on Earl Thomas shows the Cowboys' owner may have the wrong idea

Once upon a time, the Cowboys knew when to go big. Make a bold move if it means a Super Bowl. And it paid off famously twice, first with Charles Haley, then Deion Sanders.

What happened to that Jerry Jones?

Because when it came time this week to go get Earl Thomas, a sure-fire Hall of Famer, he let the Ravens have the game's best centerfielder instead. How could this be? Frankly, I thought about calling the Highland Park cops and telling them to knock on Jerry's door. Maybe Stephen tied up his dad and left him in the basement.
