One of the best plays of the last season for the Cowboys was when Ezekiel Elliott took a Dak Prescott screen pass 72 yards to the house in San Francisco.
It was shades of Pittsburgh the year before when Elliott took a screen 83 yards to the endzone. That remains the longest touchdown of Dak’s career.
The 49ers score was big for the Cowboys at the time. They were coming off of a bye and badly needed a win to put some wind back into their sails. Elliott’s touchdown was sort of the dam of frustration finally breaking.
