ARLINGTON — Tony Romo wore a Band-Aid under his left eyelid in the locker room after Dallas’ 28-14 loss to Minnesota on Saturday. The stye that kept the Dallas Cowboys quarterback out of practice in late July was back.
A closeup of Romo during the game Saturday showed an enlarged reddish bump in the same area covered by the Band-Aid. It didn’t seem to affect Romo’s performance, however. He completed 5 of 8 pass attempts for 88 yards and two touchdowns, posting a 139.6 passer rating in the process. But Romo said he expects to have the stye examined and treated after he had the previous one removed.
