It took a little while for undrafted Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo to get into an NFL game. The same can be said for his debut on Twitter.
Romo debuted on the popular social media outlet Thursday night. by 10 a.m. Friday, he had at least 53,900 followers. And like his first action with the Cowboys, Romo’s arrival was met with a big response from the crowd and opponents who want to see him go down.
His first tweet was “9,” presumably for his jersey number.
Seems harmless, but idle time with an NFL idol brings out the best and worst wherever you go and a half a day later it received over 9,000 retweets.
