IRVING, Texas – Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo took part in some 11-on-11 drills last week and will do so again this week as he works back from a broken left collarbone.
Coach Jason Garrett said Romo took the scout-team work in seven-on-seven and team drills last Friday.
“He had a good practice,” Garrett said. “He did a lot of scout-team stuff and that gave him the chance to work seven-on-seven and 11-on-11 for the first time in a little while.”
Romo will not work three straight days, which is how he has operated most of the last two years when he was the starter to rest and strengthen his back.
