After two back procedures in 2013, 35-year old Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has vowed to not play anymore golf during the offseason. Instead, the scratch-golfer has spent that time pursuing many other, more diverse ventures.
For example, this offseason, Romo has joined Twitter, attempted to host a fantasy football convention in Las Vegas and has a cameo in the recently released Judd Apatow directed comedy, Trainwreck starring Amy Schumer. Now, the superstar athlete has replaced DirecTV pitchman/actor Rob Lowe in one of the cable company’s famous alter-ego commercials pushing their NFL Sunday Ticket package.
