If it weren't for Dak Prescott, Tony Romo would likely still be the Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback.
Prescott supplanted Romo last season when he carried the team to a 13-3 regular season as Romo rehabbed from an L1 compression fracture suffered in preseason. Prescott's success was a far different result than that the recent Cowboys backup quarterbacks who had struggled when Romo went down. And Prescott pulled off the feat as a rookie.
Romo, who accepted a job from CBS Sports as their lead analyst this week, said he doesn't hold ill will against Prescott.
