The Dallas Cowboys faced the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Regardless of the outcome, the Cowboys suffered a major loss as starting quarterback Tony Romo went down with an apparent shoulder injury in the third quarter. X-rays have now confirmed that the 35-year old quarterback has fractured his the clavicle in his shoulder. His season status is unknown and will be reviewed on Monday.
Romo suffered a collarbone fracture on his left shoulder in 2010 as well. That injury forced him to miss ten games, ending his season. According to emedicalhealth.com, it could take four to eight weeks for an adult collarbone fracture to heal.
