For the first time since the Cowboys released Tony Romo on Tuesday, the veteran quarterback spoke about head coach Jason Garrett.
Romo didn't mention the coach he has worked with since 2007 during an hour-long CBS conference call Tuesday. He didn't mention him during a 25-minute interview with the Ben and Skin show [105.3 The Fan] on Wednesday.
But during a Sirius XM interview with Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski that aired Friday afternoon, Romo was asked about the "amazing relationship" Garrett and Romo have had.
"I mean, Jason played quarterback in the NFL," Romo said. "He's a very intelligent guy.
