It has been 20 years since the Dallas Cowboys last appeared in the Super Bowl, a number unimaginable for someone like me who grew up in the midst of the franchise’s dominant 1990’s run. But now an entire generation of Dallas Cowboys’ fans have never seen America’s Team even play in the NFC title game, much less the Super Bowl.
Knowing how difficult it has been for Cowboys’ fans to endure two decades wandering in the football desert under the leadership of team owner and general manager Jerry Jones can help us only imagine how tough it is for terrific NFL players that have never won a title.
