LeBron James passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar last season to become the NBA's all-time scoring leader, a record that stood for almost 40 years. James holds another record that will likely not be touched for years to come.
The Los Angeles Lakers star has scored at least 10 points in 1,188 consecutive regular-season games (and counting) dating back to January 2007. James, who faces the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday (8:30 p.m. ET on ABC), has had a few close calls this month. He scored just 10 points against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday and 12 points against the Miami Heat on Jan.
