The Dallas Cowboys carefully trimmed their roster from 75 players to only 53 this weekend, sending 20 former Cowboys to the waiver wire or free agency. Fortunately for Dallas, none of those players were claimed by other NFL teams. Since, the Cowboys front office and coaching staff have welcomed some of them back in order to fill their 10-man practice squad. Dallas added a few new names to the group as well.
Here are the players making up the Dallas Cowboys practice squad so far:
Gus Johnson, Running back
Jameill Showers, Quarterback
Tim Scott, Safety
Kellen Moore, Quarterback
Vince Mayle, Wide Receiver
John Wetzel, Offensive Tackle
Dakorey Johnson, Linebacker
Rodney Smith, Wide Receiver
Joe Thomas, Linebacker
The Cowboys still have one open slot to fill.
