There was no football played by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8 as they were on bye, but their position within the NFL’s most storied division did not change. They are in first place.
Dallas does indeed sit atop their three division rivals as the only team that boasts a winning record through Week 8. Of course, the Cowboys were the first NFC East team to be on bye this season so they are the only one that hasn’t technically reached the midpoint of the season by playing eight games.
