With just about a month to go, teams in the National Football League are splitting focus on free agency and the NFL Draft. This week in particular has been rather busy on the cornerback front which seems to be where the Cowboys could be living at number 10. On Monday, it was reported that Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley would be undergoing surgery on Tuesday, which has cast the idea of Dallas taking him with their current pick into doubt.
Tuesday was Alabama’s Pro Day where Patrick Surtain II starred. All signs point to him being the top corner in the class which would explain why Mike McCarthy and Dan Quinn were on hand in Birmingham to watch him.
