In a ceremony on Tuesday, the Texas Sports Hall of Fame inducted its class of 2017, which includes eight distinguished athletes from a handful of different sports.
Among the inductees was Darren Woodson, a former running back for the Dallas Cowboys. Woodson played for Arizona State before being drafted in the second round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the Cowboys. His entire football career was spent in Dallas, where he helped lead the Cowboys to three Super Bowl titles (1992, 1993 and 1995). He also earned three first-team All-Pro selections (1994, 1995 and 1996).
Eric Metcalf also made the list of inductees.
