Stephon Gilmore fueled by trash talk from Eagles WR A.J. Brown, delivers best game as a Cowboy

Dallas Cowboys CB Stephon Gilmore has quietly had a very productive season for the team. When the team acquired him for a fifth-round pick from the Indianapolis Colts in the offseason, the Cowboys were anticipating Gilmore filling in as the team’s number two corner across from Trevon Diggs. However, when Diggs had his season ended in week three of the season due to a torn ACL, pressure rose for Gilmore to take on more responsibility for the Cowboys in the secondary. While DaRon Bland has had the flashier season for the Cowboys, Gilmore has been quietly holding down the other side of the field, showing he can still play at an elite level in the league despite being 33 years old.
