FRISCO -- After returning to practice last week in a limited role, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo did not practice Wednesday as the team prepared for Sunday's game in Cleveland.
During the open locker room period, Romo was working on resistance cords with associate athletic trainer Britt Brown.
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said Wednesday afternoon that Romo did not suffer a setback.
"I wouldn't say it's a setback," Jones said. "I would just say that the more time that we can give him to get better while the team is still having success I think the better chance Tony has to stay healthy.
