Randy Gregory and the Dallas Cowboys have tried to say all the right things since the edge rusher out of Nebraska was drafted in the second round Friday night.
Gregory says he wants help dealing with his off-field issues. The Cowboys maintain that they can provide a structure that will lead to success.
“At the end of the day, we did a lot of homework because we knew there were issues,” Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said Wednesday while joining “The Afternoon Show with Cowlishaw and Mosley” on KESN-FM 103.3. “When we had our first meeting on defensive line and we went through his story, that’s when Jerry [Jones] and myself and Jason [Garrett] decided we really needed to not leave any stone unturned.
