Stephen Jones, the chief operating officer of the Dallas Cowboys, weighed in on what former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel needs to do to get another shot in the NFL during a Tuesday interview on 105.3 The Fan. SportsDay's David Moore reported last month that the Cowboys wouldn't pursue the troubled Texas A&M star after he was dropped by Cleveland because Manizel first needs to get his off-field life back together.
"I think it's all been said about Johnny," Jones said Tuesday. " He needs to obviously get his hands around what he's doing off the field and how he can be more functional in being in a spot where a team could count on him or depend on him.
