Sources: Dallas Cowboys have no plans to extend Jason Garrett's contract at this time

The Cowboys made two coaching moves Thursday afternoon. The one they didn't make might be more significant to both Cowboys and NFL fans.

Dallas officially announced Kellen Moore as the team's offensive coordinator and Jon Kitna as the quarterbacks coach. News also surfaced about head coach Jason Garrett.

Garrett is in the final year of his 5-year, $30 million extension he signed in 2015. He'll head into the 2019 season without an extension, according to SportsDay's Kate Hairopoulos and David Moore.

The Cowboys have no plans to extend Jason Garrett's contract at this time, meaning he would coach out the final year of his contract in 2019, a source confirms.
