Sources: Cowboys to meet with cornerback Brandon Boykin

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to have veteran cornerback Brandon Boykin in for a workout, according to sources.

Boykin was released last month by the Carolina Panthers after signing a one-year deal with the defending NFC champs in March. He was traded by the Philadelphia Eagles to the Pittsburgh Steelers last season and saw limited playing time. He started one game and had one interception to go along with 21 tackles, one sack, one pressure, one forded fumble and five pass deflections.

Boykin spent his first three seasons (2012-14) with the Eagles and had seven interceptions, six of which came in 2013.
