Source: Randy Gregory flips on Dallas Cowboys after agreeing to contract, to join Denver Broncos instead

Defensive end Randy Gregory agreed to a five-year, $70 million contract with the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, hours after he had agreed to a similar contract to return to the Dallas Cowboys, sources told ESPN.

Gregory's deal with the Broncos includes $28 million guaranteed.

Gregory becomes the second impact defensive free-agent added by the Broncos during the free-agent negotiating period, joining San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle D.J. Jones, who agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal on Monday night, sources told ESPN.

After missing two full seasons and 14 games in another season because of suspensions for multiple violations of the substance abuse policy, Gregory has become one of the Dallas Cowboys' best pass-rushers and was added to the players' leadership council by head coach Mike McCarthy in 2021.
