Running backs Ben Tate and Felix Jones, two players are aiming to resurrect their careers, will work out for the Cowboys on Thursday, according to a source.
Tate, a former second-round pick of the Houston Texans, played with three teams last season — the Browns, Steelers and Vikings.
Jones, meanwhile, has been out of the NFL since March 2014. Selected in the first round in 2008 by the Cowboys, Jones never produced 1,000 yards in a season during his career, and his tenure in Dallas did not last beyond his rookie contract.
In March, he participated in the inaugural NFL Veteran Combine, hoping to get another shot.
