Zack Martin is expected to miss no more than a week of practice with an injury he suffered when the Cowboys worked against the St. Louis Rams, a source said.
The Pro Bowl guard injured his neck while pulling to block on a Darren McFadden run during a team drill against the Rams Tuesday afternoon. He stayed on the ground for several minutes while team doctors and trainers held his head and put him through a series of test with his hands and arms.
Quarterback Tony Romo and the rest of the starting offensive linemen gathered around Martin while he was being checked.
