OXNARD, Calif. – If the Dallas Cowboys are giving out a Good Guy award or Good Teammate award early in training camp, second-year defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence might be a lock to receive it after what he did Friday during the club’s day off.
Lawrence saved a teammate from hospital meatloaf.
Defensive end Ken Boatright suffered a neck injury in two-on-one pod drills Thursday at practice and had to be carted off and taken by ambulance to a local hospital. Boatright remains in the hospital for observation but all reports are positive on him and he could be released as soon as Sunday.
