Rule change won't encourage Cowboys to go for two more often

The NFL has pushed extra point attempts back to the 33-yard line this season in the hopes of encouraging more teams to go for two points.

The Cowboys won’t take the bait.

“Oh, I anticipate us kicking our PATs obviously most of the time,’’ head coach Jason Garrett said. “Dan is a great kicker and that whole operation has been really good for us.

“We have a tremendous amount of confidence in him, but it’ll be interesting to see as games unfold if other teams start going for two more and that gets us kind of off the traditional number in a game.
