TAMPA, Florida – Jason Garrett wants to have competition throughout the Dallas Cowboys roster.
Last week the competition for the No. 5 receiver spot never materialized because of a hamstring injury suffered by Brice Butler so Devin Street was active. But if there was a surprise in the Cowboys’ lineup it was the reinsertion of Tyler Patmon as a backup cornerback.
He had been a healthy scratch in the previous two games with the Cowboys using Corey White as the extra corner. Against the Eagles, White was deactivated.
As you look to the Cowboys’ 46-man roster for today’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the only unknowns are the extra cornerback and Rolando McClain.
