Last offseason, the Dallas Cowboys reportedly attempted to trade for Seattle Seahawks’ safety Earl Thomas. Unfortunately, the two teams could not agree on draft compensation. but starting this week, the Cowboys will no longer have to give up a possible draft pick in order to acquire Thomas.
The 29-year old is scheduled to hit the open market as a free agent. And Dallas figured to be his likely landing spot. But a recent report by The Athletic’s Calvin Watkins stated that the Cowboys were no longer interested in Thomas according to an unnamed source.
