The Dallas Cowboys are two days away from their final preseason game, but they are now less than two weeks until the regular season itself begins.
Waters were calmed this week when Dak Prescott returned to team drills as the franchise quarterback is the most important player on the team. Just how much the team needs him was highlighted last season when the Cowboys imploded after he went down in Week 5.
The Cowboys lost a lot of players last year, though, and one who never even began it was right tackle La’el Collins. Up until last week all seemed relatively well with Collins, but he left last Wednesday’s practice complaining of stiffness in the neck/shoulder area.
