The Dallas Cowboys know they have a gem in VP of personnel and NFL draft guru Will McClay, and they just locked him up, according to a report.
The Cowboys signed McClay to a two-year extension this offseason, according to a report from ESPN's Todd Archer.
The deal came after Houston was the latest team to express interest in interviewing McClay for their general manager vacancy in January. McClay denied their request.
Back then, SportsDay's David Moore reported that Cowboys sources told him that the club would do everything it could to retain McClay.
