It's no secret the Cowboys receiving corps ranks near the bottom of the NFL for production. For that reason alone, the Cowboys have been connected to Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper, who reportedly is on the trading block.
According to a Sunday morning report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Cowboys have researched Cooper extensively in recent days. The report, which cites league sources, says the Cowboys have been calling around to gather information about the former first-round pick.
The Redskins and Colts have also inquired about Cooper, according to the report. The Raiders are reportedly seeking a first-round pick in return.
