Cut down day rolls on for the Dallas Cowboys, and one has been a surprise. Not because of the name, exactly, but because of what it indicates about the plan for the initial 53 man roster. The Cowboys have reportedly released Darius Jackson, and since they have already been reported to be releasing Bo Scarbrough, it looks like they will roll into the season without a RB3.
Cowboys are going to release Bo Scarbrough and Darius Jackson, source says, and will go with two RBS: Zeke and Rod Smith.— Kate Hairopoulos (@khairopoulos) September 1, 2018
That seems a bit of a risky strategy for a team that is so reliant on a strong running game.
