Report: Cowboys “not close” with DeMarcus Lawrence, deal not expected by March 5th

The contractual status of DeMarcus Lawrence is perhaps the most important thing that the Dallas Cowboys have to figure out this offseason.

Earlier this week we learned that the Dallas brain trust made their first offer to Lawrence, and a few days later it seems like that was not enough. According to a report from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Cowboys and Lawrence are “not close.”
