Jaylon Smith's arrow continues to point up.
According to an ESPN report, a recent electromyography (EMG) test showed the nerve in his left leg is continuing to regenerate, and hope remains a full recovery is months down the road.
The EMG test assesses the health of Smith's muscles and the nerve cells that control them. The last one in April showed significant improvement.
Smith was drafted in 2016, but did not play all of last season as he recovered from a severe knee injury. His progress and ability to play and practice will be among the most-watched storylines of camp and the preseason.
