Per leaked testimony to the Wall Street Journal from Jerry Jones in the Colin Kaepernick collusion grievance, President Donald Trump implored the Dallas Cowboys owner not to let the anthem issue die with his fellow NFL owners because it was good for him and his base.
“This is a very winning, strong issue for me,” the President Trump told Jones in a phone call that he divulged while giving a deposition in the grievance against the NFL by the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback.
