Rivalries between teams from different conferences tend to be rare, but one of the few that’s stood the test of time has been the Cowboys and Steelers. That’s due to the two teams having met in the Super Bowl three times, twice in the 70’s with Tom Landry and once in the 90’s with Barry Switzer. Since then, the rivalry has maintained its potency, even though the teams haven’t seen each other all that frequently.
That will change this week, when the Cowboys travel to Pittsburgh for the 34th all-time game between these two franchises.
