IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys were only missing one player from the 53-man roster when they returned to the practice field Wednesday.
Obviously, that’s a significant absence for a team is 0-7 when Romo doesn’t start, and 3-1 in the games he takes the first snap.
But although the Cowboys have yet to place him on season-ending injured reserve, it does appear Romo will be out the rest of the season after suffering a fracture near his left collarbone.
As for the remaining players on the roster, cornerback Morris Claiborne was back on the field Wednesday after sitting out the last two games with a hamstring injury.
