Ian Rapoport reports that Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott is scheduled to have a hearing on Oct. 30 in front of Judge Failla in New York regarding his preliminary injunction.
According to Rapoport, if the current schedule of Oct. 30 for Elliott’s next hearing holds, it would mean he could also play against the Redskins in Week 8. However, the NFL is pushing for an expedited hearing that would move this up to Oct. 27, so it’s possible a ruling regarding Elliott’s injunction could come before then.
Elliott recently received a temporary restraining order while Judge Katherine Failla is on vacation, which will allow him to play at least one more game.
