This offseason, there has been a lot of talk about the possibility of trading for All-Pro free safety Earl Thomas. Unfortunately, the Seattle Seahawks asking price has been too high as the Cowboys don’t want to relinquish precious draft capital in order to get him. Seattle, on the other hand, doesn’t want to just give Thomas away, despite the likely scenario that he won’t be rejoining the Seahawks when he enters free agency in 2019. The Cowboys could really use a talent like Thomas roaming the secondary. He’s a great player at a position of need for them.
