No one has said publicly that Dez Bryant must agree to a pay cut to remain with the Cowboys.
But each comment on the matter continues to inch closer to that reality.
The latest is from Stephen Jones. The Cowboys executive vice president made it clear once again Thursday evening that the club will address Bryant's contract this offseason to bring it more in line with his production.
"No one wants to compete and get after it more than Dez,'' Jones said from a ceremony for the inaugural Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year award.
