Jerry Jones spoke of Johnny Manziel's struggles and the Cowboys interest in the beleaguered quarterback Tuesday afternoon from the NFL Annual meeting.
The condensed version: the former Heisman Trophy winner must first address and deal with his issues before the Cowboys could even begin to enter the picture. Jones made it clear he's sympathetic to Manziel's plight and wants to offer all the support he can under league rules, but conceded that's primarily limited to motivation.
"I don't even dare, right now, go into picturing him in a training camp or him at an OTA or him in a ballgame,'' Jones said.
