These final three days of training camp will be no day at the beach for the Cowboys.
Jason Garrett has treated players and coaches with an afternoon at the beach in his first four training camps as head coach. Not this year. A trip scheduled for later this week has been scrapped in the wake of the team’s 23-6 loss to San Francisco.
An afternoon on the sand as you’re cooled by the gentle ocean breeze apparently isn’t the message Garrett believes his players need as camp winds down.
“Yeah our messages don’t change very much,’’ Garrett said.
