FRISCO, Texas -- Nick Foles, Super Bowl quarterback.
Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones has to be shaking his head this morning.
At the state of the Cowboys press conference to kick off training camp in 2016, the Cowboys were peppered with questions about their backup quarterback. They spent the offseason going with Kellen Moore as Tony Romo’s backup. They had Jameill Showers and fourth-round pick Dak Prescott on the roster.
Foles was released by the Los Angeles Rams prior to camp starting and led many to believe the Cowboys would look at a more seasoned veteran than Moore.
