Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, outplayed – and outgunned — NFL MVP Tom Brady to help the Eagles capture Super Bowl LII.
He also took home a Super Bowl LII MVP trophy in the process, but reaching the pinnacle of the NFL pales in comparison to his own higher calling in life — becoming a pastor.
According to website reports, Foles, an Austin native, told the media Thursday that his path to become a pastor started before he took a snap this season for the Eagles.
"I want to be a pastor in a high school," said Foles, a graduate of Austin Westlake High School.
