The Dallas Cowboys will now have 17 Pro Football Hall of Famers.
Former Cowboys vice president of player personnel Gil Brandt was named to the Hall of Fame on Saturday, per The Dallas Morning News' David Moore.
Before Saturday's news there were 16 men in the Hall of Fame with strong ties to the Cowboys organization.
Brandt played an integral part to the Cowboys success when he was a team executive from 1960-1988. As vice president of personnel for the Cowboys, Brandt helped assemble the rosters for teams that went on to win two Super Bowls and 13 division titles and enjoyed 20 consecutive winning seasons.
