Sometimes things happen in the NFL that we don’t really see coming. Surprises can be fun. This was sort of the case when the Dallas Cowboys signed quarterback Andy Dalton. Sure it makes sense, but it still caused a little bit of “whoa!” around the proverbial water cooler.
Unfortunately for him, Cooper Rush’s future with the Cowboys suddenly became one of the most predictable things. The team made it official on Monday when they waived the former undrafted free agent which meant that teams could claim Cooper if they wanted to.
What happened next was even more predictable as the former head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Garrett, has a prominent position with another NFL team.
