OXNARD, Calif. – A day after the team signed two running backs for depth purposes, the Cowboys will likely swap out rookies receivers.
The club is expected to release rookie George Farmer, a former USC standout who received a $55,000 signing bonus – the most of any rookie after the draft.
The open spot will go to David Porter, who was recently cut by the Broncos. Porter caught 39 balls for 392 yards during his senior season with TCU last fall.
Farmer’s camp and entire offseason has been less than impressive.
