IRVING, Texas -- After Dan Bailey made a 54-yard field goal to beat the Washington Redskins, golfer Jordan Spieth said he needed to buy the jersey of the Dallas Cowboys' kicker.

When Spieth, the Masters and U.S. Open champion, served as the Cowboys’ honorary captain before the Dec. 19 meeting against the New York Jets, he was wearing a navy No. 5 jersey and walked to midfield next to Bailey.
“It’s always good to have the support of anybody really,” Bailey said, “but whenever that somebody that’s at the top of their craft, that’s pretty cool.
