IRVING – Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten lifted his arms high in the arm and ran up field as he celebrated another touchdown Thursday at Valley Ranch. But this time he did so as the head coach.
Witten showed as much enthusiasm for coaching prep players as part of the Cowboys U high school football camp as he does playing in NFL games.
About 160 students from 26 North Texas high schools were on hand Thursday at Valley Ranch to participate in the fourth annual camp.
Cowboys players and coaches provided the youth with football instruction and discussed off-the-field life skills.
