A familiar face is coming back to Dallas to help the Cowboys deal with all the suspensions on the defensive side.
Linebacker Justin Durant, who played with the Cowboys in 2013 and 2014 before playing last season in Atlanta, agreed to a one-year deal with the Cowboys on Monday, the team announced.
The Cowboys had a sudden need for another linebacker after Rolando McClain was suspended 10 games for his latest drug-policy violation.
Durant had 82 tackles in 13 games for the Falcons last season. He had been signed to a three-year deal but was cut by the Falcons in February.
